Technological features

The main distinctive feature of the machine is the design of the guides. Machine tool technologies apply two basic types of guides.

Rail. In this technology, the power load and displacement functions are separated. The function of the power load is carried by the frame or support beam, to which the rail guides are attached. The displacement function is carried by rail guides, on which special bearings are installed.


Shaft. In this technology, the displacement and power load functions are combined. The shaft both carries on itself the entire power load and provides the displacement function. This technology is much cheaper than the use of rail guides. However, it has a significant drawback: – rapid wear under loads, due to a large number of movements; – Shaft sagging and loss of accuracy with time.

To lay a plate of 100 000 chips, machine makes 200 000 back / forward movements and 200 000 left / right movements in high-speed mode. Therefore, we have chosen a technology based on rail guides.
